My biggest prize was when I won a car from Burger King…

My friend and I were out late one night driving around when we got hungry so we went to Burger King for some food. As we pulled up to pay for our food I leaned over and asked the girl for a bunch of extra game pieces for the Whopper N’ Wheels game they had going on.  The grand prize was a Corvette.

Maybe it was the liquor I had fueled up inside me ( my friend was driving by the way) but man I was dead set determined on winning that car. I was dancing around the living room scratching off those tickets. I had the eye of the tiger. I was going to win that Corvette. I went through all of my game cards but only ended up winning a $50 Footlocker gift certificate. Not too bad.

Months later I receive a phone call. The gentleman on the line tells me that not all of the game cards were claimed so they had a second chance drawing and I was chosen as the winner of a brand new car. I couldn’t believe it.

Now I didn’t win the Corvette. I won a Chevy Lumina. But hey a free car is a free car.

    My biggest prize was in 2004. I won a contest sponsored by Jane magazine (now defunct) and Dove to go to Austin, TX for the weekend to attend the Austin City Limits concert and get my hair and makeup done at Pink Salon in Austin. It was a great weekend with my then boyfriend (now husband). Our cat Monty had just died so it was good to get away from home. The weekend trip was valued at $2500.

    My biggest win was a trip to a resort on Oahu for two including all food at the resort, some spa treatments and a Pearl Harbor tour. Plus $5000 to pay the taxes, which was just about right for a prize that was valued at over $19K. We had a fantastic time.

    Hello! My biggest win was an office chair worth $299! I entered the contest because I REALLY needed an office chair after my old one was lost moving across the country. It definitely wasn’t worth as much as other people’s biggest wins, but I absolutely needed it for the next 2 months while I studied for a board exam.

    It was absolutely my biggest win in terms of both money and necessity!

    My biggest prize was when I won a radio contest. You had to be the 5th caller when they played a song. Then you where entered into the big contest,I was at work and the shipping dept was listening to the radio, the guys came up to my work area and had told me I won.. It was for Valentine’s Day . I had just got divorced so I had no man in my life. I took a girlfriend with me. I won a horse driven carriage ride to a fine restaurant, we both ordered lobster & champagne. Then a limousine came and picked us up and drove us to a comedy club, then we stayed at a very nice bed & breakfast. The next day we each got pampered at an upscale salon, we got facials, hair cuts and pedicures and manicures.They also had professional photographer take picture on the horse driven carriage. Total prize package over $1000.00 . We had a blast, and got pictures to prove it….
